the snout is fine i put a bolt into the snout so the puller pushed on it and not the snout here's a pic of the bolt haha

It worked fine I don't see how I would have hurt the snout

Cause they are not meant to be taken apart the way that tool does it. You could have destroyed the seal or bent the shaft. Just don't even use that tool again please. LOL! DAMN!

Now fixing....1998 Silvermist GTP with about 182,000 miles! Dead till fixed!!!!
Current Mods: XPZ, Stage 3 heads 150int/130exh, IRC bar/plate I/C, N*, 85mm maf, ZZP billet fuel logs, PRJ wires, 2.55, 2.8, 3.25, 3.4 pulleys and might have spun a bearing while dynoing!!!!! Worlds fastest GTP to get in the driveway to get rebuilt. No one comes close.

Ok I don't plan on upgrading it again but if i ever do I'll make sure not to use that one again.

None of us are trying to be asses about it or sound mean but we just don't want things to happen to your car that can be avoided easily. Do you have supporting mods for the smaller pulley you have on the car????

I know "mother hen" is getting on you now but he does have a reason, Eaton designed these SC so they could not be serviced. That is why there is a special pulley puller to put the pressure evenly and in the right spots. I hope you lucked out and did not mess anything up, at least you used a bolt in the snout (some people do not). Did you put on a press-on or a MPS?
