Mustang owner here.

I am thinking of buying a GTP here pretty soon. I am looking to get out of my current car which is a 99 Triple Black Vert Mustang SVT Cobra.
Just looking for something different for the moment. I want something with an Auto and a little get up and go. I love the way a roots style Blower sounds and one of my friends has a 99 GTP modded pretty well and they are pretty clean looking cars.
My current ride sports a
2 1/2" lowering springs
T-56 with an Aluminum ds
BBK X pipe
Borla Cat back
18" ARE Rebels
SCT Chip wwith a Dynotune 302 RWHP and 305 RWTQ
I am still researching the different years and models.

Welcome, those SVT Cobras are nice but pricey. I use to work with a guy who had an 2003, makes getting lunch quicker...lol.
If you are still looking into the years I guess the first question is what body style do you like? The pre 1997 GTP's are turboed but not as strong, then there is the 1997-2003 which is the L67 Supercharged, now it is the 2004+ which have the L32. I wanted a 2 door so I was looking for a 2000 or older one (I think that was when they quit making them). The 2004+ engine has a little more power stock but they are heavier also so it evens it out. There are more parts available for the 1997-2003. The 1997 and 1998 they were still working the bugs out on some things like intake and TB, and the 2003 had different stuff also. So to me the 1999-2002 were the best years and can be found cheap. Good Luck
