Welcome to the forum. The best thing you can do for your car is to read as much as you can first before trying to mod (Read First thread is a good place to start). Too many people just want to put a smaller pulley on to go faster without the supporting mods which will damage your engine, we try to stay away from that here. (But the good thing about people doing that is they always have a lot of parts for sale...lol.) So is your car completely stock now? What are your plans (and how much money do you have to work with)? We can help you through the step as much as possible. Good Luck

Thanx AK. I really appreciate the quick response. Here we go........I bought my car last year stock. Its still stock. She's only had oil changes and power steering fluid replaced. Its a shame I know. I didn't get a diagnostic when I bought the car and I found out 3 weeks ago I have an intake gasket leak, my oil is mixing with my coolant which has started to smell like burnt water and my supercharger was Never serviced or taken care of and its knocking. I was searching for a solution and I started with a Haynes manual I drove all the way out to newbury ca to get. Lol. I have a $1000 right now and a steady job. There you go my skeletons dressed in my dirty laundry. Hopefully I haven't caused any heart attacks.

We have had a lot worse "starter" car here so do not worry about it. Intake gaskets can be a pain, but it gives you time to do other good mods at the same time. If it is the Lower Intake Manifold (LIM) gasket which is common then you might look into getting a new LIM like this one when you do it: <a title="http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=235&catid=109" target="_blank" href="http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=235&catid=109"></a>http://www.zzperformance.....php?id=235&catid=109 I have one and I really like it, already ported and has the holes welded up to block the coolant which is a good thing.

Is it your Supercharger (SC) that is making the knocking sound? If so it may be as simple as this to fix: <a title="http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=155&catid=106" target="_blank" href="http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=155&catid=106"></a>http://www.zzperformance.....php?id=155&catid=106 The dealer will tell you that these SC are not serviceable which is BS! They just want to replace the whole thing for over $1000.

For what you have, get what you know is wrong fixed first (with performance stuff if you can) and then get the rest ready for a smaller pulley. I forgot to ask how fast do you want to go? If you only want to get into the 13's for a 1/4 mile car then it will be easier than if you want to go as fast as you can...lol. Headers and a good Cold Air Intake (CAI) are great starts but headers are not necessary if you do not want to, it just makes it easier to go fast. Hope that helps a little.

Thanx AW......my apologies for calling you ak I wanted to say ark (my folks are from Dumas). Anywho........yeah I'm going to check out zz. I've been bookmarking Every url. Lol. I'm going to start with the mods you suggested and go from there. I understand I have to crawl before I walk or mad dash. Lol. I want her to kill 13's..........but it costs time and money. With all the resources everyones provided I can't lose. So we can start in the 13's Ay Dubya but I want to turn her out !!! I'll keep you posted and let you know my moves and considerations beforehand and progress each step of the way. Thanx Again.
